22foot curtain rods

This project was to design and fabricate a series of 22 foot length steel curtain rods for an exterior structure. The design called for custom brackets to offset the curtains from the columns at a mimimun distance of 10” while remaining structurally supportive of the rods themselves. The steel rods were fabricated as a coupling of two separate lengths that threaded into each other at the middle intersection supported by a bracket. The total consisted of 10 brackets to support over 70 linear feet of rods and curtains.
