The client was in need of a very custom preparation table for a rapidly expanding bakery. The design needed to meet certain criteria such as spanning a long distance without vertical supports in order to house separate storage devices that are constantly moving around the space as well as the table itself needing to be mobile. The design needed also to maximize the full amount of a butcher block while remaining easily transportable as well as contain a storage cabinet and quick access baking sheet pull out without interfering with needed spatial dimensions for the storage below. The Finalized design is a long span structural steel frame on casters with two custom mild steel telescopic cabinets.
